Classic scandinavian lines punctuated by a complex Viking engraving on the centre steel section. The engraving is made from several techniques where deep sculpting makes up the surrounding frame and embossed overlay makes up the center part of the engraving. 18K gold frame, silver and dark red copper creates the quite dramatic contrast.
Hand forged blade, Epoxy stabilized oak and 40 000 year old Mammoth tusk front and end cap. Hand tooled leather sheath and the creation is complete.
Blade: Hand forged multibar blade. Uddeholm 15N20, c75 steel.
Bolster: Hand forged blued pattern welded steel, random-pattern. Uddeholm 15N20 and c75 steel. Engraved with copper, silver and 18K gold overlay.
Handle: Epoxy stabilized cross cut oak and 40 000 year old mammoth tusk.
Sheath: Hand tooled rawhide leather sheath with André Andersson Viking pattern.
